We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our team for client accounts in our Longwood, FL office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field from an accredited school with a minimum of one year of related work experience; or working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field with a minimum of two years of related work experience. Individual should have OSHA 10 Hour Construction, OSHA 30 Hour Construction, First Aid & CPR, and Fire Extinguisher certifications, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and software related to construction management, project management, and internet browsing.

The responsibilities for this position include assisting multiple Project Managers or Senior Project Managers with planning, executing, and finalizing projects as well as assisting with duties and responsibilities that include the preparation of proposals to provide professional services and/or obtaining funding for projects or programs, in daily duties and managing projects from the conceptual phase through permitting and final approvals, and with estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction needs; development of project schedules and coordination of construction planning needs and tracking and communication of project milestones; supervision, coordination and inspection of the work of the Construction Superintendents; coordination with clients and agencies having jurisdiction over the project; development and delivery of progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations to appropriate government offices; and participation in client meetings and assistance to resolve client issues. This individual may be asked to assist with a variety of other responsibilities, both in the office and out in the field.

The candidate should possess strong organizational and management skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and have the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Excellent personal skills are also required including professionalism, strong work ethic, verbal and written communication, listening and problem solving, and a proactive approach.
