We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team for client accounts in our Dayton, OH office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from an accredited school. Individual should have 5 years’ experience, a related degree, and have OSHA 10 Hour Construction, First Aid & CPR, and Fire Extinguisher certifications, a strong understanding of the construction project permitting process, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and software related to construction management, project management, and internet browsing.

The responsibilities for this position include the preparation of proposals to provide professional services and/or obtaining funding for projects or programs; planning, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects from initiation through completion and turnover; development of project schedules and coordination of construction plan needs and tracking and communication of project milestones; supervision, coordination and inspection of the work of Construction Superintendents, and selection, oversight, and review of external contractors or consultants; coordination with clients and agencies having jurisdiction over the project; and leading project meetings and making presentations. This position has a supervisory component of managing a team of Construction Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers. This individual may be asked to assist with a variety of other responsibilities, both in the office and out in the field.

The candidate should possess strong organizational and management skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and have the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Excellent personal skills are also required including professionalism, strong work ethic, verbal and written communication, listening and problem solving, and a proactive approach.
